Vraag: advies over de beste dwergbonen en snijbonen om te kweken graag. Vorig jaar heb ik Jupiter en sans-souci dwergbonen geplant, en nog wat andere, en Cobra snijbonen. De Jupiter en Cobra bonen waren zeer productief en smakelijk. De Cobra-speerbonen bleven zelfs meer dan een maand lang produceren. Ik raakte in de war met de andere bonen, omdat ik al mijn bonen eerst in bakken zaaide (om de slakken te vermijden) en de namen door elkaar haalde. Sommige waren niet zo succesvol en bleken nogal draderig. Ik weet echter niet welke. Ik heb door de jaren heen veel bonen gekweekt (soms met succes, soms niet) maar ik wil in de toekomst wat selectiever zijn. Graag advies over welke bonen jullie tuiniers planten die een hoge opbrengst hebben, lekker zijn en niet draderig. Bij voorbaat dank. Anton P.S. First of all excuse me for writing in English (my written Dutch is terrible) but don't hesitate to reply in Dutch, which I can read. If you prefer me to put my texts through Google Translate please let me know. Question: advice about the best dwarf beans and runner beans to grow please. Last year I planted Jupiter and sans-souci dwarf beans, and some others, and Cobra runner beans. The Jupiter and Cobra beans were high-yielding and tasty. In fact the Cobra runner beans kept producing and producing for well over a month. I got confused with the other beans, as I was sowing all my beans in trays first (to avoid the slugs) and got the names mixed up. Some of them were not that successful and turned out to be quite stringy. I don’t know which ones though. I have grow lots of beans over the years (sometimes successfully, sometimes not) but I want to be a bit more selective in future.
